Unfortunately, many still lay down household linoleum in the old fashioned way, that is, they do not glue it to the base, but only pressed with skirting boards or fix it around the perimeter of the room using nails or bilateral adhesive tape. The causes of deformation can be various. When using a hard coating, waves usually appear in those places where linoleum does not fit to the base. Increasing, as well as a decrease in humidity or temperature, lead to a change in the linear dimensions of the flooring. For example, in winter, when the batteries are strongly dried and heated by air, linoleum compresses, and in the places of joints the canvas diverge, noticeable cracks appear. And in the summer, when the humidity of the air rises again, the coating stretches, which leads to the appearance of bloating. It is almost impossible to evenly align the canvas and return the original appearance to it.
