Purrender of the brick wall

The ancient way to protect and decorate various surfaces is plaster. A strong and practical coating remains relevant today, despite the existence of a large number of modern finishing materials with protective properties.

Before plastering, the brick wall must be prepared. All irregularities and protrusions are cleaned, the old coating is removed quite roughly, with the abandonment of the pits and chips. Irregularities and small voids in brick will allow the plaster to grab tight with the base. Increasing the clutch of plaster with brick masonry is facilitated by pre -processing the surface with a primer penetration primer.

Attention should be paid to the composition and purpose of the primer, its astringent and penetrating ability. Increasing the strength of the plaster layer will allow the use of a reinforcing grid. The size of the cells depends on the thickness of the plaster layer. The grid is attached to the brick base with dowels with metal washers. Brick masonry rarely has a perfectly smooth plane, so it is recommended to use lighthouses for planar alignment of the surface. The use of lighthouses will create a perfectly smooth surface. A dry mixture or cement-sand mortar can be used for plastering brickwork.
